Aqua Terra has grown out of our love of purely excellent massage.

It started back in 2001 when we left our former careers and jumped into the new profession of massage. We met while studying at the East-West College of the Healing Arts. Erik, coming from a career in forestry, has a great love of natural sciences. Faye had been a technical writer and web designer. Both having science-focused bachelor degrees, we were intrigued with the idea of merging the scientific with the energetic through massage.
In 2003, we created a beautifully subdued, comforting and relaxing space where friends and loved ones can unwind together, side by side. It is an honor for us to work with you on supporting your well-being.
We give our best to every one of our clients.
We were married in 2005 and have been practicing massage together full time, side-by-side, for the last 18 years. It has been a great pleasure to bring connection, relaxation, and physical balance to each of our clients.
Currently, our focus is on bringing the massage qualities we love to you virtually. The world is changing, and we want everyone to experience massage. Your body deserves to relax and find balance, whether you are quarantined, or have never had massage before, or would just like to enjoy more massage.
Let the whole, beautiful world be your personal spa.
We are both Oregon State licensed and are members of the Association for Bodywork and Massage Professionals. Educated at the East-West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon (2002), we continually develop our skills to give you uniquely-focused, high-quality hands on therapies.

Outside of the Studio
Our time is spent on the water and in the mountains. Sea kayaking is one of our great loves. With adventures in the San Juans and around the world, we have also kayaked the entirety of the tidal-influenced Columbia River.
In 2012, we backpacked 1600 miles on the Appalachian Trail, from North Georgia to Vermont. After 1250 miles of hiking purely in Vibram five-finger shoes, we gained first-hand knowledge of the muscular balance in the feet, legs and hips. The rocky ridges of Pennsylvania coerced us into switching to trail runners for the rest of the hike.
We have spent years practicing pilates and gyrotonic exercise. These are some of the greatest core movement and balance therapies we have experienced.
We also love camping, cross-country skiing, fishing, and sailing… basically anything that brings us outdoors in our beautiful Northwest wonderland.
Compassionate touch makes the world a better place.
